Lightweight veteran (up to 70,3kg.) in Ultimate, Thiago Moses had a gala performance at UFC Las Vegas 88. Featured on this Saturday's preliminary card (16), the Brazilian starred in an agonizing scene when he 'destroyed' his opponent's leg. Taking advantage of an obvious injury caused to his opponent, the Tupiniquim won by knockout in the third round.

In the images (see below), it is possible to follow the final moments of the confrontation. In the interval between the second and third rounds, the Ultimate cameras captured the considerable swelling on the debutant's left leg.

Noticing Ramirez's condition, Moisés took his opponent to the canvas after connecting with a precise low kick at the site of the injury. Mitch immediately called the action and went for the knockout.

After the official results were announced, Mitch left the Octagon supported by the team, without being able to touch the ground.

After the victory, the Brazilian made public his plans for the future. In a loud and clear tone, the combatant challenged Dan Hooker, number nine in the lightweight rankings.
