Thiago Moisés punishes debutant's leg and wins duel on UFC Vegas 88 preliminary card

The Brazilian veteran took no notice of Mitch Ramirez and knocked out his rival in the third round with a barrage of low kicks

the return of Thiago Moses the path to victory had cruelty for the North American Mitch Ramirez. On the UFC Vegas 88 preliminary card, which took place this Saturday (16), the Brazilian punished his rival's leg with low kicks and won by knockout in the third round.

Right at the beginning of the fight, Thiago got into Ramirez's legs and took down his rival. The Brazilian stayed on top of his rival throughout the entire period, punishing him with punches and elbows. The debutant was unable to escape the position and was dominated until the bell sounded.

In the second round, Thiago again insisted on grappling but was unable to take down the North American. The Brazilian managed to stop his rival on the fence for around half the round. In the final minute, the two athletes returned to the center of the cage and after an attack from Ramirez, the Tupiniquim athlete landed a cross that shook his rival and made Moisés just 'calm things down' until the bell sounded.

In the first seconds of the last round, Thiago noticed swelling on Ramirez's left leg and aimed his kicks there. It didn't take many blows for the North American to get knocked out and for the central referee to interrupt the confrontation.

Canadian Chad Angeliger came into combat against Charalampos Grigoriou with the 'noose around his neck' and coming from two consecutive defeats. Inside the octagon, the Canadian knew how to control his rival's initial momentum and from the second round onwards, he managed to capitalize on his opponent's fatigue and emerged victorious in the judges' unanimous decision.
