Rogério Minotouro on the bike

The fighters carried out a battery of tests under the supervision of Major Ferreira Pinto. The IPCFEx physiology laboratory receives many high-performance athletes, such as members of the national judo and Olympic wrestling teams, just to name combat sports. The atmosphere was completely relaxed, but when it came to the exercise bike, there was no joke.
“We carry out a physiological assessment of the athletes and collect information to provide training to the physical trainer. With this work we avoid problems regarding the fighters’ workload, such as overtraining”, explains Ferreira Pinto.
While Glover Teixeira warming up, wanting to do well in the exams, Minotouro joked with laughter: “Fifteen minutes later and I'm still tired. It’s worse than the fight!”
Still puffing after the 30-second ride on the bike, Glover was in a good mood. “If I get a guillotine now… Wow, it was scary cycling there. I think he’s better in the ring anyway.”
And the champion in the “competition” between the fighters was Vitor miranda, unanimously voted the best by the crowd. “I survived this battle. We are prepared for war, so we have to submit ourselves to these tests”, said the striker.
