Keeping an eye on the confrontation between Gilbert Durinho x Jack Della Maddalena No. UFC 299, Renato Moicano demonstrates great dissatisfaction with the direction that bettors' money is taking. Aware that his compatriot is seen as an underdog for the fight, the lightweight star (up to 70,3kg) highlighted the Niteroi native's greater ability and chances of triumphing.
“There is no way Durinho can lose to Jack Della Maddalena. 'JDM' for me is overrated. Overestimated. He's good, but I don't know what people see in him. The problem is that I was hyped for him too (Jack). But when he fought Basil, he was taken down in the first 30 seconds, imagine if it was Gilbert. I don't want to disrespect Basil, he's a big, strong guy, but what's his record? He’s not a standout like Durinho,” said Moicano on his channel. YouTube.

As he continued speaking, Moicano highlighted the wrong choices Maddalena made in past fights.
"That is the question. We're talking about two fights ago. He may have evolved, but he didn't perform well against Kevin holland. Didn't have a good fight IQ. The same thing happened in Basil's fight, his IQ was negative. He tried to place guillotines; he was much better at striking and he was looking for a grappling fight (…) I think Gilbert will go there and dominate this guy”, he concluded.

Present on the main card of UFC 299, Durinho and Jack face each other this Saturday (9) in a crucial duel in the welterweight division (up to 77,1kg.). Currently fourth in the category ranking, the Brazilian is seen as a big underdog for the clash taking place in Miami, Florida (USA).
