Wanderlei Silva announced his retirement from MMA in September, but is already thinking about staying away from the fighting world. After having his contract with the UFC suspended after being banned by the Nevada Athletic Commission, the 'Mad Dog', as he is known, will try to venture out as a commentator. Wand debuts at XFC 7, this Saturday (01), in an event broadcast on RedeTV!. The revelation was made by the fighter himself.

“I will be a commentator together with [Fernando] Navarro. Hope you like it. It will be like, let's say, a test. I've never done this kind of work before. But I know that if the opportunity arises, you must face it and do your best. The rest is up to my heavenly father”, wrote the fighter on his Instagram account.

“Thanks in advance for everything, guys. If it weren't for you, this would never happen. We are like family. Any tips for the debut”, added the fighter, asking fans to participate in the new venture.

In tonight's main fight, Allan 'Puro Osso' Nascimento, one of the main revelations of national MMA, faces Ukrainian Ruslan Abiltarov in a duel valid for the flyweight category (up to 56,7kg).
