Days after running over Ryan Bourland in a new boxing presentation, Jake Paul reinforced the desire to test himself in MMA, but discarded a specific name. In an interview with 'DAZN Boxing', the athlete ruled out the possibility of sharing the PFL decagon with Tony Ferguson, UFC icon who is going through a dramatic career situation. In a respectful tone, the digital influencer explained his position.
“I want to do an MMA fight in the PFL, but it has to be the right opponent. Nate (Diaz) dodged my offer of US$15 million (about R$74,2 million). Tony Ferguson Did you say you want to fight? I don't want to see him around like that. It would be sad. He's a nice guy. We don’t want that for Tony,” said Paul.

At 40 years old, Tony is experiencing the worst moment in his career. Former interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) in the UFC, the North American currently has seven consecutive defeats, four of which came on the fast track.
In his last confrontation, Ferguson shared the octagon with Paddy Pimblett. In the fight, the veteran ended up overcoming the judges' decision, with a large advantage for the English star.
Even at a worrying stage, Tony guarantees that he will not retire from professional MMA. To date, the athlete's future remains uncertain in Ultimate.
