Duel between Donald Cerrone and Myles Jury is the new co-main fight of UFC 182

The “Cowboy”, as he is known, has been one of the main names in Ultimate this year after winning his four fights, against Adriano Martins, Edson Barboza, Jim Miller and Eddie Alvarez. The Jackson's MMA athlete justified his request for a full calendar in 2014 on the grounds that he was bankrupt and needed to fight to pay his debts.

Myles Jury, 25 years old, is one of the great promises of Ultimate and the lightweight category. The Alliance MMA athlete has yet to be defeated as a professional and has a perfect record of 15 wins. Since debuting in the UFC, “Fury”, as he is known, has already beaten Chris Saunders, Michael Johnson, Ramsey Nijem, Mike Ricci, Diego Sanchez and, more recently, the legendary Takanori Gomi. Currently, Jury occupies eighth place in the division rankings up to 70,3 kg, four positions behind Cerrone.

UFC 182 takes place on January 3, 2015, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). The main fight of the night marks the long-awaited meeting between the light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and the undefeated challenger Daniel Cormier. Tension and anticipation for the fight between Jones and Cormier has grown a lot in recent months, especially after the pair fought during a promotional event in August.
