After being completed by B.J. Penn in the lightweight title fight, Kenny Florian will be in action again in the UFC, but this time outside the Octagon. The fighter, who has a degree in journalism, will take Joe Rogan's place as a commentator at UFC Fight Night 19. The event will take place on September 16, in Oklahoma.
“I will be commentating at UFC Fight Night 19 in September. I think Joe Rogan will be shooting a movie and will be absent because of this, but I will fill in for him,” he said.
Florian is not inexperienced in the matter, as he replaced Rogan at UFC-83 and plays a similar role on ESPN's weekly MMA program.
