Due to some controversy caused in fights recently, the Nevada Athletic Commission approved the use of instant replays by referees in fights in the state. With decision fights with controversial results like Kevin Burns vs. Anthony Johnson and Mustapha al Turk against Mirko Cro Cop would be stopped for the referee's analysis.
The measure was unanimously approved by the NSAC, and should be applied in less than 30 days.
In addition to this decision, the Athletic Commission also approved that in addition to valid title fights, “champion level” fights will also be held over five rounds.
