A twist marked the card of UFC 298, which takes place this Saturday (17/02), in California (USA). Heavy weight (up to 120,2kg.) justin tafa suffered an injury and had to withdraw from the fight against Brazilian Marcos “Pezão” de Lima. In his place, his younger brother came, Junior Tafa, who was already in the United States following his training.
Junior Tafa, 27 years old, accepted the challenge at the last minute and weighed 112,9 kg at the official weigh-in, held on Friday (16). The fighter has a record of five wins and one loss in the MMA, all of them by knockout. He comes from a victory over parker porterin August 2023.

Marcos “Pezão” de Lima, 38 years old, is an Ultimate veteran, with ten triumphs and seven setbacks in the organization. The Brazilian boasts, in total, a record of 21 positive results, nine negative results and one draw in his career. He looks to bounce back from the quick defeat to Derrick Lewis, in July 2023, at UFC 291.
