The day has arrived for the second numbered Ultimate event in 2024. Directly from Anaheim, California (United States), the UFC 298 features 12 fights, including a title fight in the main event. In the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg), Alexander Volkanovsky seeks sixth title defense against undefeated challenger Ilia Topuria.

In the co-main fight, in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), Paulo borrachinha returns from a year and a half of inactivity to face the former champion Robert whittaker in a decisive duel for the category.
