The time has come for SUPER FIGHTS predictions. This week, our team pointed out their favorites for UFC 298, which moves MMA on Saturday (17). With a title fight and participation of Paulo borrachinha on the main card, the show promises to shake the spirits of sports fans.

In the main fight, Alexander Volkanovsky returns to featherweight (up to 65,7kg) and seeks new belt defense. Absolute in the category since 2019, the Australian faces the undefeated Ilia Topuria.

Back in the octagon after more than a year of inactivity, Paulo borrachinha has a decisive fight in his career. Over the weekend, the Brazilian will face the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg), Robert whittaker. A triumph brings the winner closer to a title clash.

Promise in the welterweight division (up to 77,1kg.), Ian Gary makes his first clash in 2024. The athlete will measure strength with Geoff neal and tries to continue the climb towards the top of the group.

PUBLICITY:

Former double UFC champion, Henry Cejudo holds the 'last race' in an attempt to compete for the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg). The fighter faces Merab Dvalishvili and the winner must compete for the category throne next.

A clash between Brazilians is highlighted on the preliminary card. Former challenger for the strawweight belt (up to 52,1kg.), Amanda lemos will be an opponent of Mackenzie dern, which seeks to return to the path of victories.

Palpites SUPER FIGHTS scoring system

The guesses will be made by the team at SUPER FIGHTS. At the end of the 2023 season, whoever obtains the most points will be the team's 'best bettor'.

The scoring system will be simple. Whoever gets the winner right gets a point. Whoever 'guarantees the way in which the outcome happens, earns three points and, if the bettor 'predicts' the positive result exactly (example: knockout in R1, submission in R3, decision by points), the guesser is awarded with five points.
