Twice flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg), Brandon Moreno believes that he still has full conditions to resume his reign in the category. In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', the Mexican fighter said that Ultimate hinted that he could fight for the belt again, if he beats Brandon royval, and outlined the 'dream' scenario for the 2024 season.

“They hint, but they don't explicitly say that you're going to fight for the belt. Obviously, you get to do your own math too. If I achieve victory (over Brandon royval), there is no one else in the division. Maybe you can talk about Manel kape or (Muhammad) Mokaev, who has a good streak, but I think each of them has an unknown. My ideal scenario would be to win this fight on the 24th and then fight for the belt on Night UFC in September this year. In the end, I made so many plans that didn't work out, but yes, this is my roadmap for 2024,” Moreno said.
