Kyra Gracie, five-time jiu-jitsu world champion, no longer intends to compete in the gentle art. The great-granddaughter of Carlos Gracie, who recently gave birth to her first daughter, from her relationship with actor Malvino Salvador, announced that she would hang up her kimono as she considered that she had already achieved all the achievements she could have had during the years she dedicated herself to competitions.

“I had the baby now, so I had to put it aside, there’s no way. In jiu-jitsu, I've competed as much as I had to compete, I managed to achieve my goals. In jiu-jitsu, no one will see me competing anymore'”, said the athlete, in an interview with the “MMA Brasil” website.

Regarding a possible migration to MMA, something that has been speculated for years, Kyra left the possibility open. “About MMA, somehow I'm already there, I'm commenting. But nothing is certain. It’s difficult to predict the future, but we’ll see”, said the athlete, who participates in the broadcasts of UFC events on the “Combate” channel.
