Undisputed middleweight champion and coming off a spectacular knockout over Forrest griffin in the light heavyweight division, rumors are growing every day that Anderson Silva could challenge the current champion of the under-93kg category, also Brazilian Lyoto Machida. The “Spider”, however, quickly put an end to the speculation and told the American website MMA Mania that he will not face his former training partner.
“Of course I will never face Lyoto (Machida). You don't even need to ask me. We have a code of honor and, in addition to being friends, I consider them like brothers. This fight will never happen”, said the Brazilian.
