After completing the acquisition of Bellator at the end of last year, the PFL announced, this Monday (5), new plans for the organization. The 'Bellator Champions Series' consists of eight global events led by title fights.

The first event in the series will be Bellator 302, headlined by a dispute over the vacant light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg) between North American Corey anderson and Northern Irish Karl Moore. The event takes place on March 22, at the SSE Arena, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In the co-main fight of Bellator 302, Belfast athlete Leah McCourt faces Sinead Kavanagh in a rematch for the women's featherweight (up to 65,7 kg). The two faced each other in Bellator 275, in February 2022, with Kavanagh winning via unanimous decision by the judges.
