Luck has not been a friend of middleweight Patrick Cote. The fighter who injured his knee during the title fight against Anderson Silva, in October last year, has been facing a series of consecutive injuries. This Monday, Cote reported on his Facebook page that he suffered a new knee injury and will have to undergo surgery again, postponing his return until 2010.
“Yes…Bad luck again! My medial collateral (ligament) ruptured during training and will postpone my return until at least February next year. I will undergo surgery again tomorrow…But I promise I will come back stronger than ever”, said the fighter.
