After abandoning his work as a bricklayer and dedicating himself fully to training, with the help of experts like Chuck Liddell, he had five consecutive victories (one does not appear on the official record), all by knockout and in the first round, against experts like Cameroonian Rameau Sokoudjou. .

On September 12th, Glover returns to action at Bitetti Combat, after more than a year away from the ring. The fighter comes from two victories over his future opponent, Leonardo Chocolate, but in the submission, nothing that makes him feel like a favorite to fight under MMA rules. “I enter the octagon confident, but not because of the submission victories. It's another sport and I don't count that as an advantage for MMA. I go in confident because I'm an MMA fighter and, if I had lost in the submission, I would be just as confident,” he said.
