The main duel of Jungle Fight 74, scheduled for November 29th, at the Ibirapuera gym, in São Paulo, will be between Douglas Bertazini from São Paulo and Júnior Alpha from Bahia. The fight will put the organization's middleweight belt (up to 84kg) at stake, which has been vacant since Ildemar Marajó's move to the UFC. The rest of the fights on the card will be announced soon.
Douglas comes from a sequence of four victories, and has a complete record of nine victories and five defeats. In addition to the positive record, the aggressive style was one of the favorable points for the Miguel Repenas Team athlete to receive the opportunity to compete for the title.
“I've been fighting for Jungle for a long time, everyone knows that I'm going to fight, I'm going to fight, regardless of what happens. And that's what Wallid expects from Jungle fighters. I’m grateful for this opportunity and I’m going to do everything I can to walk away with this belt”, says Douglas.
Júnior, in turn, has five career victories against just one defeat. The fighter trains at Master Dórea's Champion gym and is recognized for his boxing skills. In the last three fights, two were won by knockout and one by unanimous decision by the judges.
