Looking to make another victim in his successful career in MMA, Chris Cyborg recently spoke out and accused Kayla harrison of having refused an offer to fight. Keeping an eye on the situation, journalist Ariel Helwani contradicted the Brazilian and made public his version regarding the non-occurrence of the long-awaited confrontation.
“That’s not 100% true. They're going to make this card (Bellator x PFL), my understanding is that neither Kayla nor Cris are in it. (…) Number one: Kayla's contract, she told us that that was her last fight, the one that was at the end of November. And Cris has a boxing match coming up, and I think it's a little too close to that proposed February 24th date, so I don't think Kayla could have turned it down as part of a 'Hey, if you re-sign, you get this.'” , said Helwani during the recording of his podcast 'The MMA Hour'.
