Two former champions of UFC they will face each other in a fight that promises to be electrifying. Deiveson Figueiredo, former owner of the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg.), accepted the challenge of cody garbrandt, former king of the bantamweights, for a duel in the under 61,2 kg category. The match is scheduled to take place at UFC 300, an event that celebrates the organization's 30th anniversary, on April 13, in Las Vegas (USA). The information was released by the Ag Fight website.
Garbrandt was the first to express interest in facing Deiveson, shortly after knocking him out brian kelleher No. UFC 296, in December. The North American said he spoke with UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby and that he approved the idea of a bantamweight fight against the Brazilian.

Former king of flies, Deiveson Figueiredo moved up to the bantamweight division in December, when he overcame Rob font by unanimous decision.
