Announced earlier this week, the duel between Charles of the Bronx e Arman Tsarukyan It's starting to heat up even with about three months to go until the event. In an interview with the commentator's channel Daniel Cormier on YouTube, the Armenian prospect showed awareness of the difficulty of facing the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg), however, he exuded confidence in his strategy and said he is capable of knocking out the Brazilian in the first round.

“Smothering someone is very difficult, especially when I train with high-level fighters. To suffocate them, you have to beat them for 15, 20 minutes, and then, when they get tired, you can end the fight. In the first two rounds, it is almost impossible to suffocate high-level fighters. I believe I can do it in the first round and I want to show everyone that I'm the best here. My goal is to go out there and knock him out in the first round to show everyone that I deserve this title fight,” said Tsarukyan.
Number four in the lightweight rankings, Arman is considered one of the biggest prospects on the entire Ultimate roster. Riding on three consecutive victories, Tsarukyan will face the former champion Charles of the Bronx in history UFC 300, which will be held on April 13th, in Las Vegas (USA).
