Considered one of the best pound-for-pound boxers today, Floyd Mayweather Jr may soon venture into the world of MMA. However, the world's highest-paid athlete isn't thinking about donning the four-ounce gloves: he intends to one day organize MMA events through his company, Mayweather Promotions.

“Money”, as he is called, explained that one of the reasons behind the idea is the way MMA fighters are currently treated. “We believe in talent winning, we believe in treating our boxers and MMA fighters well. I want MMA fighters to have contact with Mayweather Promotions and I'm looking forward to having my first MMA event, my first MMA champions,” Mayweather told the “Fighthype” website.
