the duel between Junior Gypsy e Stipe Miocic It's only December 13th, but the duo has already started to heat up their engines for the main fight of UFC on FOX 13. Through their official profile on Instagram, Cigano himself released a photo of his first face-off with Miocic.
“Coming soon…”, commented the fighter along with the photo of the face-off. Cigano should have faced Miocic in the main fight of TUF Brasil 3 Final, last May, in São Paulo (SP), but the duel ended up being postponed due to an injury to the Brazilian. On that occasion, Junior dos Santos was replaced by his compatriot Fábio Maldonado, who ended up defeated by the American of Croatian descent in just 35 seconds.
Junior Gypsy, 30 years old, has a professional record of 16 wins and three losses. The former heavyweight champion has not fought since October last year, when he was defeated by Cain Velazquez at the end of the trilogy for the 120 kg division belt. Already Stipe Miocic, 31 years old, has a record of 12 wins and one loss. Miocic is on a three-fight win streak – which includes, in addition to the recent knockout over Maldonado, triumphs over Gabriel Napao e Roy Nelson.
