After an encouraging re-debut in the UFC, with a defeat to Francisco Massaranduba in Brasília (DF) on September 13th, former TUF Brasil 2 participant Leandro Buscapé will have the chance to bounce back by fighting once again in his home country. The Ultimate organization announced that Buscapé will face American Charlie Brenneman at UFC Fight Night 54, in Uberlândia (MG).
At 28 years old, Leandro Buscapé has a professional record of 16 wins, one draw and two defeats – both suffered in his only fights as a UFC athlete. Charlie Brenneman, 33 years old, has a record of 19 wins and seven losses. Also in his second stint in Ultimate, Brenneman is experiencing a complicated situation in the organization, as he is coming off two consecutive defeats – to Beneil Dairush and Danny Castillo.
UFC Fight Night 54 takes place on November 8th, at Ginásio do Sabiazinho, in Uberlândia (MG). In the main fight of the night, the former PRIDE middleweight GP and UFC light heavyweight champion Mauritius Shogun faces Nigerian-British Jimi Manuwa.
