Opponent of Cung le in the fight in which the Vietnamese were caught in one of the least surprising doping cases in history recent MMA fighter, the British Michael Bisping I didn't want to debate the topic. In an interview, Bisping, who won the duel held at UFC Macau, stated that Le should already be punished enough for his act and that he already owes enough explanations to other people, such as his family.

“Fortunately I won the fight. If I had lost, I would have been angry and would have said a lot more. I don't want to come here and kick someone who's already down. Cung le You will have to explain what happened to your children. I hope this is a lesson for everyone: this is not the right path. In a way, I feel bad for him, as he will have to bear the consequences of his act”, said the Englishman, in an interview with the “MMA Fighting” website.

However, despite the moderate speech, Bisping commented that Le's act could have cost him dearly. “He tried to steal my victory. If I had lost, I wouldn't fight with Luke Rockhold in the main event in Australia, people would be telling me I should retire… he almost seriously hurt me. I'm happy that the UFC is doing what it can to clean up the sport”, he celebrated.

At 35, Michael Bisping has a professional record of 25 wins and six losses. Champion of The Ultimate Fighter 3, the “Count”, as he is known, has a fight scheduled against Luke Rockhold in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 55, on November 8th. Already Cung le, 42 years old, will serve a nine-month suspension due to the doping case. The Vietnamese have a record of nine wins and three losses.
