Rafael Feijão is injured and is out of UFC Uberlândia, in November

Brazilian was replaced by compatriot Francimar Bodão in the fight against Ovince St. Preux

Rafael Feijão is no longer part of the UFC Uberlândia card, on November 8th. The light heavyweight was cut from fight night after suffering an undisclosed injury during his training for the duel against the North American Ovince St Preux.

The information was released on the official UFC website. Also according to the organization, Francimar Bodão from Acre was chosen to replace Feijão in the duel against St. Preux.

At 31, Ovince St Preux has a professional record of 16 wins and six losses. In his last fight, OSP lost to Ryan bader by unanimous decision of the judges, last August.

Francimar Barroso, known as “Bodão”, has a record of 16 wins and four losses in MMA. The Kimura-Nova União athlete has two fights in the UFC, having won Ednaldo Lula in his debut and was defeated by Hans Stringer in his last appearance in the octagon.

UFC Fight Night 57 takes place on November 8th, at Ginásio do Sabiazinho, in Uberlândia (MG). In the main fight of the night, the former light heavyweight champion Mauritius Shogun faces Nigerian-British Jimi Manuwa.
