That games are increasingly developed and incredibly realistic is nothing new to anyone, but “EA Sports UFC”, the official title of the largest MMA organization on the planet for Xbox One and PS4, has been surpassing itself. In a video released on the internet, the producer Eletronic Arts, responsible for the game, produced a simulation of the fight between Conor McGregor e Dustin poirier at UFC 178 and surprised with the quality of the content.
In the images, Conor dominates the actions standing up and is the biggest aggressor in the standup, using and abusing plastic kicks. At the end of the first round, the Irishman is taken down by Poirier and suffers a small punishment on the ground. At the end of the partial, it is possible to notice that it is Dustin who has the most injured face between the two.
In the second round, after some exchanged blows, McGregor hits Poirier with a kick that is very reminiscent of the “stingray tail” of capoeira and takes his opponent to the canvas, ending the fight with another sequence in the ground and pound. After the victory in the video game, the digital version of the Irishman still gestures asking for the featherweight belt.
