As is publicly known, the UFC has been negotiating in recent months with former Strikeforce fighter Gina Carano, with the aim of marrying a duel of muses between the fighter and the current champion of the women's bantamweight division, Ronda Rousey. However, it seems that Carano will not sign with the UFC anytime soon.

Carano has not fought MMA since 2009, when she left fighting to dedicate herself to her film career. According to the American's agent, Scott Karp, Carano is expected to film two more films by the end of the year, which greatly reduces the chances of her stepping into the Octagon in the coming months.

The momentary failure of negotiations displeased UFC president Dana White, who classified Carano as the most difficult person he has ever negotiated with. “She is the most difficult human being we have ever dealt with, and I did not expect that. I don't know, let's see what happens. It's incredibly difficult. We have already dealt with Brock Lesnar, Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell, Ronda Rousey… We’ve managed to make deals with everyone on this planet, but she’s the most difficult athlete I’ve ever dealt with,” White said, according to the website of the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”.

White's revolt is not even aimed at Carano herself, but rather at her managers. “The problem is that she leaves her career in the hands of these f***ing idiots in Hollywood. It's complete madness. We've had all the biggest stars in the world. Now, we're talking about a girl who hasn't fought in a while. Whenever we deal with people from Hollywood it's crazy. It’s literally crazy,” she gushed.

With this, White confirmed that the next challenger for the Ronda Rousey shall be Zingano catif she wins Amanda nunes at UFC 178, next Saturday (27).
