Anthony Johnson saw another case of violence involving his name come to light, and this time the accusation came from his ex-girlfriend from the city of Boca Raton, Florida (USA), where he currently trains with the Blackzilians team.

Last week, “Rumble”, ranked fifth in the UFC light heavyweight rankings, received a hook from the North American organization after the mother of his two children filed a complaint for an attack that occurred in 2012. At the time, the fighter allegedly punched the woman until she lost consciousness, breaking two of her teeth, in addition to sending threatening cell phone messages.

The new aggression would have happened in March of this year. According to the ex-girlfriend, Johnson grabbed her by the neck and arm, causing bruises on her right forearm and a scratch near her collarbone. According to her, Johnson appeared at her workplace 15 times in three months, despite the fact that their relationship ended in 2012.

UFC president, Dana White, stated that he decided to suspend the athlete, and not fire him, in order to determine the veracity of the accusations. White also revealed that, before the cases came to light, Johnson had already arranged a fight against Alexander Gustafson for December, which would headline UFC on FOX 13. “The fight was done. It would be on FOX, but now there won’t be a fight”, said the director.
