Even though Vitor belfort has been cleared by the Nevada Commission to compete for the UFC middleweight belt against Chris Weidman, criticism continues to be made against the Brazilian fighter. Tim Kennedy, a frequent critic of the “Phenomenon”, once again gave his opinion on the situation of the fighter, who predicts a drop in performance with the increase in anti-doping inspection.

According to Kennedy, Belfort will be harmed by the fact that the Commission carries out random tests on the Brazilian until the date of the fight. “There is a 30% chance that Belfort will not show up and a 45% chance that he will test positive or get injured. So, there is a 25% chance of him appearing in the fight. If he succeeds, it means he did not use [banned substances], because he is being tested. Then he will be killed. If he can't fight, it's because he realized he doesn't have a chance without his magic juice”, said Kennedy, in a press conference reproduced by the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

Kennedy claims to have already seen changes in Belfort's physical form. “He’s smaller and fatter. Guess what? Steroids work. Do you want to look like Vitor had two years ago? Use steroids. Do you want to have the same performance he had? Use steroids. They are amazing. If you want to look like Vitor today, don’t use steroids and try to compete with guys like us who work hard,” he concluded.

Kennedy will return to the UFC octagon this Saturday (27), when he will face Yoel romero at UFC 178. Belfort was scheduled to fight Weidman in December, but an injury to the champion forced the title fight to be postponed to a future date, probably in February.
