UFC confirms Warlley Alves, Wagnão and Ju Thai for event in Uberlândia

UFC Fight Night 56, which takes place on November 8th in Uberlândia (MG), received a home reinforcement this Tuesday (23rd). Through an official note, the Ultimate organization announced the presence of the Minas Gerais trio composed of Warlley alves, Wagnão Silva and Ju Thai at the event that takes place at Ginásio Sabiazinho.

Of the three, however, only Warlley alves, born in Governador Valadres, had his opponent confirmed. Warlley, champion of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 in the middleweight category, he will move down to the welterweight division and face the American Alan Jouban. Ju Thai and Wagnão Alves, born in Viçosa, continue to await their opponents on the card.

UFC Fight Night 56, or UFC Uberlândia, takes place on November 8th at Ginásio do Sabiazinho. This will be the first time that an Ultimate event will be hosted in a city in the interior of Minas Gerais, in the two other editions in the state the venue was Ginásio do Mineirinho in the capital Belo Horizonte. In the main fight of the night, the former light heavyweight champion Mauritius Shogun faces Nigerian-British Jimi Manuwa.
