After much speculation, the fight between Junior Gypsy e Stipe Miocic, which would take place at the TUF Brasil 3 Final in May and ended up being postponed due to an injury to the Brazilian, should be rescheduled for December. The duel top-10 of the heavyweight category should take place at UFC on FOX 13, scheduled for the city of Phoenix (USA).

The information was released by the program “UFC Tonight”, the official Ultimate newspaper on North American TV. According to the news, sources close to the American fighter of Croatian descent confirmed the negotiation of the duel for the December 13th card. The report contradicts the initial expectation that the fight between Miocic and Cigano would be rescheduled for another card in Brazil in 2014.
At 30, Junior Gypsy has a record of 16 wins and three losses. The former heavyweight champion hasn't fought since September last year, when he was knocked out by Cain Velazquez at the end of his trilogy for the belt. Already Stipe Miocic, aged 32, has a record of 12 triumphs and only one setback as a professional. Miocic comes from three consecutive victories, over Roy Nelson, Gabriel Napao and Fábio Maldonado.
