The competitions for the third World Championship of the Brazilian Sports Jiu-Jitsu Confederation (CBJJE) begin today. The fights will take place at Ginásio Mauro Pinheiro, in the Ibirapuera complex, in São Paulo, and the first to take action will be the blue belts, this Friday. On Saturday the purple and brown belts will compete and Sunday will be reserved for the black belts. And white belts will also have a chance. Graduation begins on July 26th and 27th and registration is still open.
“This will be the World Cup in which we will have more foreign athletes and the tendency is for us to evolve more and more in this regard. Furthermore, we will have great national teams and many outstanding fighters”, said Moises Muradi, president of the CBJJE.
