At 20 years of age, Larissa pacheco will take an important step in his career next Saturday, September 13th. The fighter, champion of Jungle Fight, will make her UFC debut at the Brasília event, against the experienced Jéssica “Bate Estaca” Andrade.

Even though she is the youngest fighter among all the athletes in the Ultimate women's bantamweight division, Larissa does not see her young age as a disadvantage. “I found out that I am the youngest athlete in the UFC. I turned 20 now, I almost joined the UFC when I was 19, so that's really cool. I got along very well with it, I didn't let it get me down that much. Everyone says I'm very young, they ask me if I'm afraid, because it's a mega event that can tear you apart. But I remain calm”, said the fighter, in an exclusive interview with the reporter from SUPER FIGHTS Lucas Carrano.

Furthermore, Larissa was called up for the fight at relatively short notice, as Jéssica's original opponent, Valérie Létorneau, was cut due to injury. The champion of Jungle Fight He doesn't see any problems in this regard either. “I was already training to defend my belt in another event where I was fighting. I tried to stay calm, because this usually messes with a person's head. I tried to stay calm and focused – there was little time left before the fight, but I already know Jéssica’s work, and that helped me a little”, continued Larissa, who continued with her analysis of Jéssica.

“I've been following her for some time, so I know more or less what she can do. If she tries to surprise me, I'm ready for it. I know that a fight with her will give me greater experience in the UFC and, in the future, I will continue training to make the grade and reach the belt”, concluded the fighter.
