In the early afternoon of this Friday (12), MMA fans in Brasília (DF) were surprised by the news that the champion Ronda Rousey, who would come to the city to participate in a question and answer session before the UFC Fight Night 51 weigh-in, had her participation in the event canceled due to problems with the flight that would bring her from the United States. However, even with the decline, the public filled the Nilson Nelson gym to interview the former heavyweight belt holder Junior Gypsy.

In just over an hour, Cigano answered questions about his struggles against Cain Velazquez, his graduation as a jiu-jitsu black belt and spoke about his plans for the future. Among all the issues, however, the revelation from Santa Catarina that he considers “Gordinho” was surprising. "Between Stefan struve e Shane carwin, I would say the hardest was Carwin. But I would say that the hardest part was Roy Nelson. The week of the fight, a reporter asked me if it wouldn't be bad if I lost to Nelson after beating so many other big names. Have you ever thought about losing to Gordinho? It's going to get ugly! That stuck in my head. To give you an idea, I had this in my head even during the fight”, revealed Cigano, who a little earlier had already signed autographs and taken photos with fans.
