Ultimate's new favorite, the Brazilian Diego lopes put on another show in the most famous octagon in the world. When opening the card UFC 295, the featherweight (up to 65,9kg) from Tupiniquim was not scared by the pressure from the experienced pat sabatini and took advantage of an opening to knock out his rival with just over a minute. The show was held at Madison Square Garden, in New York (USA).
With the spectacular knockout, Diego achieved his second consecutive victory in the organization, consolidated himself as an important featherweight highlight and now has a record of 23 triumphs and six setbacks in professional MMA.
pat sabatini continues with its irregular sequence of results in the company and its record now boasts 18 positive results and five negative results.

The two fighters started exchanging blows in the center of the cage and Sabatini landed a cross that rocked Diego. Sabatini tried a flying knee, but the Brazilian managed to get out of range of the blow. Pat cut short and tried to take the takedown, but Diego resisted and landed an upper followed by a cross that rocked the American. Sabatini tried to escape, but Diego put pressure on him and punished him with a few more punches until the referee stopped him.

Ladies and gentlemen, France has another prominent name in MMA. Light weight (up to 70,3kg) Benoit Saint-Denis resisted the initial impetus and the attempt to Matt frevola to use grappling. After a moment of pressure from his rival close to the fence, the Frenchman found the right spot from the distance and landed a spectacular shot, immediately knocking his rival out. The crowd at Madison Square Garden went wild.
Saint-Denis consolidates his excellent career moment and adds his fifth consecutive victory in the organization. The Frenchman went on to record 13 triumphs and only one setback as a professional in the sport.
Moreover, Matt frevola sees his streak of three consecutive victories interrupted and loses again in the organization, something that hasn't happened since June 2021. The North American now has a record of 11 positive results, four negative results and one draw.
