Former UFC fighter José Maria 'No Chance' fights for Talent Circuit flyweight belt

Released by the UFC after having two fights in the biggest organization on the planet, flyweight José Maria “Sem Chance” is back in national MMA and will have a title fight upon his return. On September 20th, Sem Chance will face Roberto Souza in the main fight of Circuito Talent 12, an event that takes place in the city of Campinas (SP).

In addition to the flyweight belt fight, the tournament taking place at Ginásio do Guarani also features a women's strawweight belt fight between Camilinha Pitbull and Lívia Renata Souza as the co-main fight. In addition, the event also has a kickboxing fight between Mário Nikito and Emerson Fabiano to close the preliminary card.

At 32 years old, José Maria has a record of 33 wins, five losses and two unsuccessful fights. The Limoeiro do Norte native of Ceará is coming off two consecutive defeats, to John Lineker and Dustin Ortiz – both in Ultimate. Roberto Souza, 21 years old, is still undefeated as a professional. The São Paulo native from Indaiatuba won all six of his fights by knockout or submission, three of them on the Talent Circuit itself.
