After selling out two sectors, Grandstands and Chair C, on the first day of sales, the Ultimate organization made new tickets available for UFC Rio 5, which takes place on October 25th and has José Aldo x Chad Mendes as the main fight. The new tickets are already being sold and offer spectators only a “partial view”, whether in the stands or seats.
The “Partial Vision Grandstand” sector has the cheapest tickets for the Maracanãzinho gymnasium: R$140, with a 50% discount for half-price ticket holders. The “Partial Vision C Chair” is sold for R$ 190, with benefit holders also entitled to entry at half price.
In addition to the two new sectors, another five, already offered since the opening of sales, still have tickets available, they are: Chair B (R$ 650), Chair A (R$ 950), Premium Chair (R$ 1200), Octagon Premium (R$ 1600) and exclusive tickets for People with Special Needs (R$ 95). All tickets, except those for those with special needs, can also be purchased by half-price beneficiaries for 50% of the price.

If it is already a common practice in many concerts and musical spectacles, the sale of tickets for sectors that only offer partial vision, now also started by the UFC, has already caused controversy in football. When it was reopened in Belo Horizonte (MG), the Independência stadium was the center of a huge discussion as almost 25% of its seats did not offer a full view of the field for seated spectators. Therefore, tickets to the upper stands of the stadium had discounts of up to 50% on other prices.
