UFC changes Brasília card and Léo Santos now faces Efrain Escudero

Former opponent of the American, Francisco Massaranduba has compatriot Leandro Buscapé as his new opponent

Just over 15 days before UFC Fight Night 51, in Brasília (DF), the Ultimate organization made last-minute changes to the schedule and modified the matchups. Leo Santos and consequently, Francisco Massaranduba. Léo, who would face the Polish Łukasz Sajewski, will now face a duel of TUF champions against Efrain Escudero.

Yes, massaranduba, a veteran of The Ultimate Fighter Brasil 1 and who was originally going to be Escudero's opponent, will face compatriot Leandro Buscapé on the preliminary card. Buscapé, who was part of the cast of the second edition of TUF Brasil, had been fired from the UFC in June last year after having just one fight in the organization, but was rehired after winning the five fights he had outside the Octagon.

UFC Fight Night 51, or UFC Brasilia, takes place on September 13th at the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium, in the federal capital. In the main fight of the night, heavyweight Antonio Pezão faces the Belarusian Andrei Arlovski. In the co-main fight of the night, lightweight Gleison Tibau, Brazilian record holder for appearances in the octagon, faces Polish Piotr Hallmann.
