The UFC decided to innovate the official poster for the 179th event, which will put them face to face José Aldo e Chad Mendes in a fight valid for the featherweight belt. This time, the organization featured the two main attraction fighters in the form of a drawing, with the champion sporting his belt just in front of the challenger.
The athletes in the co-main fight of the night, Glover Teixeira e Phil Davis, also appear on the poster, although in a more discreet way. The event will be held on October 25th, at the Maracanãzinho gym, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
