In a recent statement, the president of the UFC Dana White hinted that the organization's most likely superfight for the near future it would be between the champions José Aldo e Anthony Pettis, respectively in the featherweight and lightweight divisions. But a former title holder in the under-70 kg division, the American Ben henderson, I would like to star in a super fight alongside Aldo. What's more, Bendo still wants the duel to take place in a Brazilian football stadium in front of a record audience.

“I would be very willing to do a super fight. It would be cool, fun. I would like to face Aldo on a card in a Brazilian stadium with 100 people. I would like to be on this card anyway, in fact, even if it was to have another fight. Brazilians are very passionate. This is what changes in relation to the United States. There is a lot of passion, like there is in football”, said Henderson, in an interview with the “ESPN Brasil” channel website.

Despite revealing the dream, Ben henderson, who faces the Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos this Saturday (23), he prefers not to make concrete plans for the continuation of his career and sees several potential opponents even in the lightweight division itself. “It’s not in my hands. All I care about is fighting. What they (the UFC leadership) will do in the future is not up to me. There’s also Nurmagomedov, Eddia Alvarez now… All I care about is fighting”, he analyzed.

Despite Dana White's plans or even desire to Ben henderson, the three names that could be involved in this hypothetical superfight have commitments scheduled until the end of this year: Bendo faces Rafael dos Anjos in the main event of UFC Fight Night 49; José Aldo takes a rematch against Chad Mendes for the featherweight title at UFC Rio 5, in October; It is Anthony Pettis puts his belt on the line for the first time against Gilbert Melendez in the co-main fight of UFC 181, in December.
