Every UFC contract provides for a bonus for the fighter in case of victory, which is generally equivalent to a 100% increase in the amount received. But the North American Luke Rockhold wants to innovate and launch a new sport, in which the winning athlete takes home his salary and that of his defeated rival. During an interview, Rockhold challenged the British Michael Bisping for a duel under these terms and even snubbed his rival, saying that he would only get the better of the bet if his victory came in the first round.

“I have a bet. Bisping is overpaid compared to where we are. So I bet with Michael Bisping, that if I don't beat him by knockout or submission in the first round, he can keep my salary. But if I beat him in the first round, then he gives me his purse. So if I don't finish you in the first round, Bisping, if I beat you in a decision or whatever, you get both of our bags. But if I finish you in the first round, we'll swap bags and I'll get your payout. Let’s see if you have the courage, boy”, said the former Strikeforce champion to the “MMA Junkie” website.

Rockhold justified the challenge to the Briton by mentioning an old feud between the two, which dates back to the day when Bisping claimed to have beaten him during some training sessions. “Bisping, who is a big talker of shit, has been having friction with me for a long time. He said he had managed to get the better of me during our training session. Let's see if this is really true. Put your money where your mouth is, kid,” he said.

before thinking about Luke Rockhold or any challenge you have received, Michael Bisping has an appointment this Saturday morning (23), Brasília time, against Cung le in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 48. The Brit has a professional record of 24 wins and six losses. Rockhold, who has a record of 12 wins and just two defeats, is currently without a defined opponent and is coming off two consecutive victories, against Costas Philippou and Tim Boetsch.
