In addition to Charles do Bronx, remember fighters who missed out on UFC belt fights

Before Charles do Bronx, names like José Aldo, Jon Jones and Amanda Nunes have already missed Ultimate events

Last week, the MMA community was impacted by the news of the departure of Charles of the Bronx of the card UFC 294, in which he would face Islam makhachev for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg), due to a cut on the eyebrow suffered in the last sparring session before leaving for Abu Dhabi, where the event takes place. With the injury suffered with only 11 days remaining, the Brazilian ended up being replaced by Alexander Volkanovsky.

Embezzlement in title fights on the eve of an event is, however, not something unheard of when it comes to the UFC. Therefore, SUPER LUTAS recalls ten times when title fights were canceled or postponed at the last minute.
