The case of aggression involving MMA fighter War Machine and his girlfriend, pornographic film actress Christy Mack, continues to resonate in the North American press. The 32-year-old athlete, arrested last Friday (15), has not yet officially spoken out, but his lawyer, Brandon Sua, went public to defend his client.

For the lawyer, War Machine, whose given name is Jon Koppenhaver, is not a bad person, and the media outlets would not be giving the fighter's version of the story. “The hardest thing for my client is seeing the repercussions from the press and the public. There were many statements that showed only one side of the story. The press did a good job of painting my client as a monster, but he's not a monster. He’s a good guy,” he said, in an interview with the television station “KTLA”.

War Machine, arrested in the city of Simi Valley, California, will be transferred to Las Vegas, Nevada, where the assault took place.
