In times of closed siege against athletes who use illegal substances in MMA, with several important names being caught in exams and others even leaving the sport and citing the abuse of performance-enhancing drugs as justification, nothing has gone unnoticed on the radar of the public. Less than a week to face Michael Bisping in the main fight of UFC Macau, the veteran Cung le, 42 years old, raised suspicions when he released a photo showing his current physical shape.

With a lot of muscle mass and excessively vascularized, the former kickboxing world champion appeared in a very different shape than in his last fights, in which he did not have such defined muscles. The North American opinionated content website “Cage Potato” even published a provocation to the fighter on its official Facebook profile. "To the left, Cung le in November 2011. On the right, Cung le in August 2014. Diets and exercises, right?”, he wrote in the post, along with two comparative photos of Le.
