Featured at Misfits Boxing, an event held this Saturday (14), in Manchester (ENG), Whindersson Nunes The performance was off again. Opponent of youtuber My Mate Nate, the Brazilian ended up frustrated by his rival's greater reach and was dominated for most of the four rounds played. At the end of the fight, the North American was declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges.
With the defeat, Nunes suffers the second consecutive stumble in the sport. At the beginning of the season, the native of Piauí participated in Kingpyn, another show that promotes boxing challenges between celebrities. During the tournament, the Brazilian had one triumph and one setback.
Executioner of the Tupiniquim star, Nate had a strategic and efficient performance throughout the clash. The North American made use of his greater reach and prevented the advances and recovery of the Tupiniquim.
New stumble
The fight started with Nate taking the initiative with a jab. The Brazilian walked forward and sought to enter the opponent's range of action. The North American managed the scale better and controlled the actions. In the final minute, Nunes surprised her opponent with a hook to the waist. The Piauí native started to loosen up and tried to corner his rival against the canvas. Despite the low effectiveness and forcefulness of his attacks, Whindersson had effective dodges.
In the second round, the combatants went into a frank fight in the opening seconds. Nate continued to make greater use of the distance and hit the Piauí native more, who, despite the disadvantage, continued to walk forward. As time went by, the North American started to take more risks and threw combinations at the Brazilian's body. At the end of the stage, Whindersson had a frustrated expression, as he was unable to catch up to his opponent. Almost at the end of the assault, Nate hit the Piauí native with specific attacks, while the Tupiniquim continued launching attacks into the void.
With the need to recover from the losses of the initial rounds, Nunes tried to be more aggressive in the confrontation. The Piauí native's challenges continued to be great, as Nate continued to hurt the Brazilian with crosses and preventing the Tupiniquim from reacting. Almost in the final minute, the American hit Whindersson with a direct hit on the torso, but remained on his feet. In the final minute, the clash was lively, with the fighters exchanging attacks close to the ropes. The round ended with a frank confrontation between the fighters.
The last round began with Nate imposing the strategy of fighting at long range. The Brazilian continued to have difficulty touching his opponent and was hit by a sequence of jabs, straight and crossed.
