Gustafsson refuses to accept any fight other than a title fight

Swede said he didn't mind the fact that he could spend more than a year without acting due to the requirement

The Swede Alexander Gustafson is actually quite dissatisfied with the announcement of who the fight between Jon Jones e Daniel Cormier was postponed until January after the injury. Originally scheduled to face Jones in September, but replaced by Cormier after injuring himself during training, the Swede believes the right to the challenger spot is his and will not accept any other fight until he fights for the title.

The information was reported by journalist Ariel Helwani, during the official newspaper “UFC Tonight” this Wednesday (13), which reproduced the comments made by Gustafsson's manager, Manos Terzitano. Also according to the agent, the Swede, who last fought in March this year, wouldn't mind not fighting until mid-2015, the estimated deadline for a possible challenge to the winner of Jones x Cormier, to have his demand met.
