The serious case of domestic assault by fighter War Machine against his ex-girlfriend, porn actress Christy Mack, continues to have major repercussions. On the run since the day he broke into Christy's house and beat her and a friend who was there, War Machine has an capture reward valued at US$10 (about R$22,7) and received an ultimatum from bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman, who gave the fighter 24 hours to turn himself in to police.

“War Machine, you better give all your excuses to the judge. You have 24 hours to show up or I'll be coming after you!” Duane wrote on his official profile on Twitter. The bounty hunter had a famous program on American cable TV that followed his day-to-day activities and lasted eight seasons. Recently, Dog returned to action in a new show, alongside his wife and son, in which he scours the United States in search of the country's most wanted criminals.

However, Duane's demand did not go unanswered. An account on Twitter that belonged to War Machine's brother provoked the bounty hunter and made a revelation: the fugitive fighter was taking refuge in Canada. “Shut up, brother. You won't catch him without getting a good beating first”, said the profile “AlphaMaleSeeJay” in the first message. “You’re not going to get War Machine. He's in Canada (laughs). Good luck brother! You are a criminal, you cannot get here”, he added.

Whether Duane “Dog” Chapman is really interested in the War Machine case, is already thinking about working on the case in his new program or just wanted to promote himself on the case that has been making the news, remains to be seen.
