The Ultimate organization confirmed that Raphael will face the North American Bryan caraway at UFC Fight Night 54, which takes place in October.
Raphael Assunção comes from six consecutive victories, the longest undefeated streak in the category, and was the last fighter to beat the current champion TJ Dillashaw, in a victory by decision shared by the judges at UFC Barueri. The 32-year-old from Pernambuco has a professional record of 22 wins and four losses. Already Bryan caraway, 30 years old, has a record of 19 wins and six losses. The boyfriend of the former challenger in the women's bantamweight category Miesha Tate comes from victories over Johny Bedford and Erik Perez.
UFC Fight Night 54 takes place on October 4th, in Halifax (Canada). In the main fight of the night, the home athlete Rory McDonald faces the former champion of the extinct Strikeforce Tarec saffiedine. The expectation is that the fight between Assunção and Caraway will be part of the main card of the event.
